The directors of the SOTRALENTZ Group, Karl BURKARDT, Chairman, and Jacques DUCARUGE, General Manager, are acquiring a holding in the company’s capital. This group is now owned in equal shares by these Directors and by Patrick LENTZ, the historic shareholder.
This operation is in line with the will to continue the group’s business and guarantee its ongoing development.
The SOTRALENTZ Group, which achieved turnover in the order of 400 M€ in 2007, of which 60% was in export, employs 1.500 poeple and has production sites in France (Alsace and Lorraine), as well as in Germany, Poland, Spain and Romania.
The Group operates in three fields :
- Plastics (purification sector and industrial packaging) (turnover 120 M€)
- Sheet metal work and large dimension mechanised welding (turnover 80 M€)
- The manufature of welded wire mesh and armatures intended for the construction industry and public works (turnover 200M€)
These three activities are aimed at sectors undergoing considerable growth – energy, chemistry, construction, housing – which has enabled the SOTRALENTZ Group to double its turnover in the course of the last four years.
