A Quality Control Service which gives you a guarantee of products with technical specifications in compliance with the standards and certifications in force.
It oversees all product certifications required to meet market needs and demands (Eg. AFCAB, DIN 488, SIA 262, BENOR, KOMO, etc.).
A service which is keen to ensure customer satisfaction and is constantly seeking improvement.
A service which, through its presence in the workshops and thanks to a quality control system in compliance with standard ISO 9001 version 2000, helps to inspire a spirit of “Quality” among all staff involved in the company.
The primary function of the laboratory is control of the reinforcements for reinforced concrete, during all stages of production:
WIREDRAWING: an action which consists of reducing the section of the raw material (known as “wire rod”) by mechanical traction on a wiredrawing machine.
At this stage of production, the following aspects are checked, in compliance with the standards in force:
Control of the linear density (metric weight),
Control of the surface geometry, which is essential for the adherence test, by means of optical measurement (height of bolts, spacing between bolts, etc.),
Control of the mechanical resistance of wiredrawn steels. Conducted on a calibrated traction machine, with determination of extension by means of optical measurements.
WELDING: Assembly by means of electric welding on semi-automatic or automatic machines.
Control of the welded assemblies (cutting resistance tests).
The Quality Control service currently conducts an average of 150 to 200 traction tests per day.
